Today I got some much needed weed eating done around the flower area. Last night we put down more weed fabric for the next flower bed and tonight after I rode Whiskey for the first time, we did some weeding of the sunflowers and zinnias.

It’s so cool to me how the sunflowers follow the sun - even before they’re bloomed.

We also did some light weeding in the garden. Michelle’s strawberries are so close to being ripe! She put rabbit cages over them to try to protect them from critters! I planted a couple of Canterbury bells in one of the raised beds.

Michelle also planted her coleus. They are huge!

The high today was 65 and the low was 45. It was definitely cool out but overall a beautiful day. The high tunnel is appreciated the cooler weather. The two small rows of radishes germinated already and there’s a broccoli head about ready to harvest.
